Dear Market Goers,
So last week Middleburg had it’s Hunt Parade but this week, it’s OUR TURN. Tomorrow is Christmas in Purcellville, starting with Breakfast with Santa, an incredibly intiricate and hugantic train in the Town Hall Council Chambers, a kick-butt parade and so much more, including Loudoun’s BEST Farmers Market!
What’s not to like?

Very intelligent Customer purchasing bread from Millstone Bakery
So come on out….it’s supposed to be a little warmer this week and we’ve got this new vendor…………….
Michael Calley, manager of Wagenberg Farm in Middleburg, will be supplying our market with firewood and selling bundled firewood to our customers …and less expensive than the convenience and grocery stores. He is also offering cord and half cord, delivered free if you live in Loudoun County.. Wagenberg Farm also has a tree farm, so stop by and talk to Michael about wood, trees and hay…Fun fact about Michael, he was actually the manager of the Purcellville Farmers Market when he was a younger lad (we’re the same age so I guess he’s still pretty young) when it started in Round Hill, moved to the IGA Parking Lot, and then to the 21st Street parking lot! Check the farm out at .www.wagenbergfarm.net.
Boy, did we have some fun last Saturday despite the cold, windy, arctic, bone-chilling, temperatures… Thank goodness we have the toughest, most fearless vendors and customers…We can handle anything! Thanks to the customers who embrace the world and the weather and all manner of obstacles to venture out into the great outdoors. After saying all that, we just might be moving to an indoor location for January, February and March….Stay tuned for more information.
BIG THANK YOU to GEORGE WEAVER, who was so kind and brought firewood AND started the fire for all of us. You are a Godsend!!!
If you weren’t at the market last week, don’t forget that we had three new vendors…Millstone Breads, Holy Cow Delivery, and beautiful Christmas wreaths, made by another lovely Samantha.
DON’T FORGET…NEW HOURS ARE 10-1.
Two people called me today to say that Lothar is featured in this month’s Loudoun Magazine. And our sweet little market is mentioned several times too….Can’t wait to see that! And if you want to participate in the “Best of Loudoun” poll on the Leesburg Today Website, don’t forget your favorite farmers market!
